Arts & Sciences Class Instructors: Baroness Hugoline the Delicate taught classes on Viking Wire Wrapped Rings & Whip Cord Braiding, Sir Niccolo da Palermo Count of Samasota taught classes on Calligraphy: Insular Majiscule Script, and Illumination: Drawing Celtic Artwork, Baroness Galiena the Small taught a class on Nalbinding, & Lady Luna de Valeria taught a class on Norse Mythology 101


The Vendors and food trucks set up the market streets at 10am, and the gates officially opened for visitors at 11:00am.



Clan of the Raven set up a fantastic Viking Living History Village adding to the ambiance and education to the Event, as well as some bow shooting, and ax throwing!



At 12pm The Knights of Acre performed a battle for the Audience to their delight and Baroness Hugoline the Delicate taught classes on Viking Wire Wrapped Rings.




At 1pm Montclair Early Music performed for the crowds in the Pavilion and Sir Niccolo da Palermo Count of Samasota taught a class on Calligraphy: Insular Majiscule Script.



At 2pm there was a live musical performance by Avon Faire in the Pavilion, and Baroness Galiena the Small taught a class on Nalbinding



At 3pm  Lady Luna de Valeria taught a class on Norse Mythology 101



At 3:30 pm The Knights of Acre performed another battle, followed by Fight a Knight



At 4:30pm Sir Niccolo da Palermo Count of Samasota taught a class on Illumination: Drawing Celtic Artwork


Once the Marketplace closed, we headed into the Main Hall for Court.

During Court we announced the winner of the Brewing Competition, which was the Peach Wine. The Brewer was called into court, and awarded a $100 gift card for excellent skills in Brewing.


Sergeant Dante Lockhart was called into court and presented with an award of honor for his service to the kingdom, stepping up whenever needed to any task, particularly notable in stepping up most recently in feast preparations.



Lady Luna de Valeria was called into Court and inducted into the Order of the Muse, for excellence in Music.


Baron Demetrios Villaquemada Di Salaparuta was called into Court and inducted into the Nameless Order, for lifelong service to the Kingdom.



Baron Leon of Cyprus, was called into Court, to answer the question set before him at Grand Heraldic Tournament, if he would accept the duties of Chivalry, and Join the rank of Master of the Bow, to which he replied that he would. His friend and comrade in arms, Sir Conrad Jarnhand, Member of the Chivalry, Sir Persephene Psaras di Salaparuta, and a Peer of the Realm Rhiannon of Ares, Countess of Ile De Graye all spoke on his behalf. He was Presented with a Gold Arm Band, a Medallion and a chain, and dubbed Sir Leon. Members of the Chivalry came to greet their newest member, and each added an arrow to his quiver.



Following Court we were served a spectacular feast (Which was entirely sold out) Courtesy of the Kitchen Staff

They served a Day board of Turnip Soup, Split Pea soup with Ham, Leek & Cheese pie with barley pastry, Danish crackers, pear & Plum jam, and dried fruits and nuts with hot apple cider. During 1st remove we were served fish soup, honey glazed carrots, and barley bread with honey butter. During the 2nd Remove we were served Honey Roasted Chicken, baked beets, and broad beans. Dessert was a Cheese and Saffron Pie, and Honey nut cakes with honey cream. (And Mac and Cheese and Chicken Nuggets for the Children)
