The site opened its doors at noon, and by 1:00 PM, the festivities were in full swing. Attendees, clad in their finest medieval attire, gathered in anticipation of a day filled with joy and community spirit. The site, adorned with seasonal decorations, exuded a festive ambiance that perfectly captured the essence of Yuletide.

No medieval celebration is complete without a feast, and this year's Yuletide event was no exception. A delightful day-board was prepared by the talented Dante Lockhart along with numerous support staff, offering a selection of hearty fare to sustain the revelers throughout the day. As evening approached, the tradition of a potluck feast by table brought everyone together in a spirit of sharing and fellowship. Guests brought an array of dishes, from savory pies to sweet treats, creating a banquet that was as diverse as it was delicious.

The highlight of the afternoon was a brief but thrilling melee tournament, a reenactment of the legendary Yuletide battle known as "Black Friday." Participants donned armor and wielded weapons, their skill and valor reminiscent of the knights of old. Spectators cheered as the combatants clashed in a display of chivalry and martial prowess, bringing to life a storied tradition of medieval warfare

Baroness Galiena the Small offered classes on creating straw Yule goats. These charming decorations, rich in history and symbolism, provided a creative outlet for attendees and a unique memento to take home. Under the Baroness's guidance, participants learned the art of straw weaving, making the crafting session a memorable part of the day's activities.

As the day unfolded, the final court of Queen Tara III and King Damien III took center stage, adding a regal touch to the festivities.

First-timers were warmly welcomed into court to be recognized and introduced to the populace, making them feel at home in the kingdom.

Lady Rosalie, Lady Sara, and Sergeant Caitlyn were called into court and awarded the Golden Fish Hook for their noble efforts in bringing new people into the kingdom, earning the title of "fishers of men."

Sir Conrad summoned Sir Niccolo to court to present him with a prize for winning the day's black Friday games.

Lord Malcolm MacKenneth was called into court and received a Page's Blue Belt from his knight, Sir Galvan Lockhart, marking a significant milestone in his journey.

The Army of Acre was recognized by King Damien III, thanked and congratulated for their valor and dedication throughout the year.

Lord Tadgan The Chronicler and Lord Taranis Templeton were honored with a token from the queen for their unofficial yet invaluable roles as the Queen's Champions of Excess.

Princess Una was called into court by King Consort Damien to discuss the importance of the consort, with assurances that she will be an inspiring and capable queen.

Countess Rosalinda de Vulpes received an Award of Honor for her lifetime of selfless service and unwavering support to the crown.

Both minor and major officers were called into court to receive heartfelt thanks for their service. They were paid for their duties and presented with gifts and tokens of appreciation, acknowledging their unwavering dedication to the kingdom.

In conclusion, Queen Tara and King Damien departed the thrones and were welcomed back into the populace, a gesture symbolizing their enduring connection to the people they served.

Following court, the celebrating continued. The air was filled with the sound of holiday carols as attendees joined in the annual caroling session. Voices rang out in harmony, spreading cheer and capturing the spirit of the season. Gift exchanges further enhanced the sense of community, with thoughtful tokens of appreciation bringing smiles and warmth to all who participated.

As the clock struck 8 PM, the gates of the Barony of Kyrenia closed, marking the end of a day that will be cherished in memory. The Kingdom's annual Yuletide celebration was a resounding success, a testament to the enduring spirit of medieval traditions and the bonds of fellowship that unite us all. Until next year, may the warmth and joy of Yuletide linger in our hearts.
