Sumer Song
by Lord Richard of Woodenbridge

Harvest thy early crops, from herber or plot,
Behold the smalle boys as they sing and hop,
Light the salt- fires, make the bees to swarm,
The days they are long and the sun Ôtis warm,
Make merry ye children and playfully go,
at dansing Ôtil moonrise or shooting the bow
Bothe lover & lass, birdsong cheer thy heart,
Ôtil Autumn or Winter nay shall you part!
